In addition to Military Science Classes and Leadership Labs, students participate in the following ceremonies throughout the year.
Orientation- Usually the first weekend in September covers the basics of the program, genereal rules, and guidelines.
Dinning In - A formal dinner prepared each Fall semester for MS I, MS II, MS III, MS IV students, and Cadre (official military instructors and staff).
Joint Service Award Ceremony- Happens once a year and is a interdepartmental event for all Army, Navy, and AIr Force of MIT's ROTC program.
One to Two a semester- students (cadets) plan and conduct field training exercises (FTX). Cadet leaders (usually MS III & MS IV) plan the weekend, coordinate food, resources, and lead events. To see pictures of this years FTX look under the media tab.
